Executive Retreats

Time out is necessary to work at optimum efficiency

All organisations need to take the time to reassess their position, plan strategies that will beat the competition, invent better ways of doing things - and just get away from the daily grind. Whoever is charged with choosing the venue for these events is faced with the unenviable task of trying to please all the people every time and this is difficult.

On the one hand delegates need to be relaxed, on the other they should not risk being distracted from the task at hand. People want to go somewhere prestigious, but company meetings generally do better in an informal atmosphere. While looking for somewhere completely unlike the work environment, organisers want to avoid a holiday atmosphere.

The Right Environment to Stimulate

Champneys believes it can offer exactly the right balance with Executive Retreats at its secluded Health Resorts. Providing just the right environment to relax delegates enough to get the creative ideas flowing and activities to improve relationships and promote productive and innovative interaction between colleagues.

There is no need to worry about the level of attentiveness on your second morning of meetings as your colleagues will not have been marooned at the bar, but will have perhaps enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner and may have risen early to take a dip in the pool. We can always arrange for our fitness team to do a ‘Wake and Shake’ of gentle exercise and stretching (subject to availability) half way through your meeting to whisk away any cobwebs and make sure that everyone is wide-awake.

Dress for De-stress

Ensuring that everyone knows they are not at work, nobody wears a suit at Champneys. Casual, sports clothes or even bathrobes (Champneys robes are complimentary for use during your stay) increase the sense of relaxation that has become the Champneys hallmark.
